Melinda Noelle (Moraga) Aguiniga
Born April 17, 1964- died February 1, 2010 at UCSF Hospital of Primary CNS Vasculitis. She is survived by her loving husband, Al, her precious daughters, Jessie 14 and Sarah 11, her loving mother, Ernestine D'Achille, pre-deceased by her father, Raymond Moraga in 2006. She also leaves her dear sister and very best friend, Melissa Tolentino (Nate), her special nephews Justin, Xavier and Amadeus, dear and loving friend of Michael D'Achille. Very beloved granddaughter of Carlos (Papa) and Zenaida (Hijita) Sandoval (deceased), and Ramon (Grandpa) and Santina (Nana) Moraga (deceased). She loved all the various family gatherings and picnics with all her aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of her family-the Sandovals and the Moragas. Melinda was so sweet, kind and caring with a warm smile for everyone. She had a wicked and sometimes irreverent sense of humor. She had a generous heart and never passed a homeless person without donating something. She leaves us much too soon but we will forever carry her in our hearts.
We would like to thank Dr.Vanja Douglas and his team at UCSF Hospital for their kind care of Melinda and also the wonderful nurses in the 11th floor Neuro ICU and on the 14th floor Palliative Care for their sensitive, tender care.
A Mass for Melinda will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 1:00pm at St. Robert's Church, 1380 Crystal Springs Rd., San Bruno followed by a Celebration of Life Reception at The Elks Lodge, 920 Stonegate Dr., South San Francisco.
God bless you our cherished Melinda and keep you in his loving care. Until we're together again, we will miss you so much.
