Martha Elizabeth Sorich
March 27, 1917-February 20, 2010
Martha Sorich passed away on February 20, 2010 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George C. Sorich, her parents; Attilia and Giuseppe Ansaldi and her brother Angelo. She is survived by her devoted daughter Jackie and her cherished grandchildren Sophia, Gabriel, Michael and Charlie (dec.). She leaves behind her adored great-grandchildren; Lucas, Malia, Killian, Freyja and dear brother Mario. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and special friends and will be dearly missed by all.
Martha loved nature and life with a passion. Her favorite hobbies included; oil painting, sewing, reading, watching a great movie and most of all sharing time with family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 26th at St. Emydius Church, 286 Ashton Ave., San Francisco followed by the Committal at Italian Cemetery, 540 F Street, Colma.
