Nellie S. Soriano
October 16, 1912-February 27, 2010
Nellie Soriano passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27th at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul T. Soriano, her daughter Ruth Revilla and her son in laws: Lenerd Mateo and Denny Arcano. She is survived by her daughters: Lorraine Mateo and Irene Arcano, son in law Fred Revilla and her sisters: Hazel Sorbel, Ruth Mueller and Nancy Santiago. She was the loving grandmother to: Lennette and Dennis Perry, Laura and Ron Janero and Theresa and Guillermo Reyes. She leaves behind adored great-grandchildren: Vincent Clark, John Janero, Julie Janero, Andrea Mateo and Guillermo Reyes, Jr. Nellie, affectionately known at "Nana" was the cherished great-great grandmother to: Emily Clark, Gavin Clark and Christopher Mossontte, Jr. and the loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by all.
Nellie was a San Francisco GIANTS Faithful and supported the team through the good times and challenging ones. Her passion in life was her family and all of her time, energy and love devoted to them. She was always there for them in any way needed and will never be forgotten.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday and Tuesday, March 1st and 2nd from
5 p.m. at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. A Rosary/Vigil service will be held on Tuesday, March 2nd at 7 p.m. also at Duggan's Serra. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3rd at St. Veronica Church, 434 Alida Way, So. San Francisco.
