George Joseph Keenan, M.D. Died March 2, 2010. George was a native San Franciscan, born October 4, 1929. He attended St. John's Grammar School and St. Ignatius High School. He was a graduate of Santa Clara University and Tulane University Medical School. Beloved son of the late Kathleen Lamey Keenan and George Joseph Keenan Sr. Cherished nephew of the late Marcella Mullane and Frank Lamey. George was the loving husband of the late Mary Ortiz Keenan, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. Loving father of Tom Keenan, Kathryn Keenan SND, Michelle (Peter) Trumbo, James (Suzanne) Keenan, Marcie (Gregg) Farano, and Maura (Laurance) Narbut. Proud grandfather of Joseph Keenan, Kathryn Trumbo, Bill Keenan, Kayla Trumbo, Vienna Farano, and soon-to-be-born baby girl Narbut. George will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and friends. Friends and family may visit Monday March 8th, from 4pm with a Vigil Service 7pm at Duggan Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. Daly City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 9:15am St. Vincent de Paul Church, 2320 Green St. San Francisco Ca. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
